Japan interested in establishment of tour offices in Phnom Penh and Siem Reap

PHNOM PENH: A Japanese firm branded Dream Tours is interested in establishing tour offices in Phnom Penh capital and province to facilitate visits between Cambodia and Japan.

The update was shared by H.E. Yuji Kumamaru, Former Ambassador of Japan to Cambodia in his meeting with H.E. Thong Khon, Minister of Tourism here in Phnom Penh recently.

H.E. Yuji Kumamaru continued that Japan Dream Tours is one of the largest tour companies in Japan having its headquarters in 25 countries in the world, and supports 50,000 tourists annually.

H.E. Thong Khon welcomed the firm's intention and also requested H.E. Yuji Kumamaru to push for the ANA flight resumption as the company has postponed due to COVID-19.

The minister also suggested the former Japanese diplomat attract more Japanese tourists to Cambodia.

H.E. Yuji Kumamaru pledged to promote Cambodia's tourism, coordinating more flights and attracting more Japanese tourists to visit the Kingdom.
