PHNOM PENH: Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet told a Vietnamese company this afternoon that Cambodia is setting a goal to turn family farming into a strategic production for export.

This commitment was highlighted while Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet received a courtesy call from Mr. Tran Ba Duong, Chairman of TRUONG HAI GROUP CORPORATION (THACO), and his colleagues, during his two-day (Dec. 11-12) official visit in Vietnam.

In the meeting, Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet said Cambodia is welcoming all investors, both local and foreigners.

For his part, Mr. Tran Ba Duong briefed Samdech Thipadei on the company's business activities in Cambodia, especially fruit growing, agro-products, processing plants, and animal husbandry, as well as its direction to expand its investment to contribute to the promotion of economic growth and job creation for the people of Cambodia.
