IDI and IDC meeting with buyer from US based OCM Group
PHNOM PENH: On Wednesday, May 17th, 2023, Dr. Hor Sereyvath, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Innovation and Development Investors Associations “IDI” and ID Capital Plc. “IDC”, accompanied by BOD Members and the executive team, in collaboration with the Department of Industry of Phnom Penh, Mr. NETH MONYPONNAKA, Phnom Penh Department Director of Industry, Science, Technology and Innovation organized a meeting between Cambodian producers and buyers from the United States, represented by OCM Globe Inc (OCM) Purchased from the United States, represented by Shiu Ching Po (Adam) business development manager, and colleagues.
The participation included 13 institutions and the presentation of 87 food products such as coffee, baking powder, condensed oil, spices, cashew nuts, rice, brown rice, banana chips, tea, nests, ears, fish sauce, soy sauce, and whisky.
Matchmaking is the initiative by IDC Business Center (IDB) with the purpose of helping to push for the export of Cambodian food products to the United States through meetings between sellers and buyers. As a result of the meeting, the OCM representative indicated an eager interest in the potential of Cambodian products especially Pepper, Cashew Nut, and Wild Honey in particular.
OCM was founded in 2015 and is headquartered in Los Angeles. Serving the Chinese community in North America and exporting many high-quality Southeast Asian products to the USA.
