PHNOM PENH: On October 6, 2023, a delegation from CamEd Business School, led by Dr. Prum Virak, met with H.E. Minister Hem Vanndy, Ministry of Industry, Science, Technology & Innovation to discuss potential collaborations in supporting Cambodia's micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs).

During the meeting, Dr. Prum Virak expressed CamEd's eagerness to cooperate with the ministry to support and develop the SME sector by equipping SME owners with financial management skills.

Minister Vanndy welcomed the collaboration and suggested that CamEd continue and extend its services to the informal economy, such as by providing basic bookkeeping training.

This would help informal businesses transition into the formal economy, where they would have greater access to financial services and be able to expand their operations.

CamEd has already organized workshops and sent trainers to workshops specifically tailored to support SMEs.
