“Cambodian Enterprise Incubation Program (Cambodian EIP)” cohort 2 kicks off

PHNOM PENH: On 31st August 2023, Khmer Enterprise, the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), and for Billions welcomed entrepreneurs and mentors to the “Cambodian Enterprise Incubation Program (Cambodian EIP)” Cohort 2.

“Cambodian Enterprise Incubation Program” is an incubation program that will support SMEs to improve and scale up their business and early-stage startups by developing business plans with support from digital learning platforms.

One crucial part of this program is that it requires entrepreneurs to work on their businesses individually, with support from local and international mentors.

The program will run for four months and is scheduled to end in February 2024. Young entrepreneurs join it for free and this cohort gathered over 40 participants around the country.

Khmer Enterprise () was established as an implementation unit of the Entrepreneurship Development Fund (EDF) to implement the support programs and directly work with partners and beneficiaries.

It aims to mobilize, invest, and manage resources, from all legitimate sources, to support the development of a vibrant entrepreneurial ecosystem and to provide financial and non-financial support to related entrepreneurial ecosystem builders.
