PHNOM PENH: Cambodia's Ministry of Public Works and Transport (MPWT) and AI Technology Pte. Ltd. have discussed the possibility of cooperation in the modernization of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in contribution to Cambodia's infrastructure development.

The discussion took place here on Oct. 16 between H.E. Peng Ponea, Minister of Public Works and Transport, and Mr. Lim Hua Nam, Director General of AI Technology Pte. Ltd.

According to MPWT, the cooperation will contribute to the development of roads, railways, and waterways in Cambodia, with an aim to modernize the sector of public works and transport with high resilience in accordance with the digital society.

Such cooperation will also contribute to the Pentagonal Strategy-Phase I of the Royal Government of Cambodia, the source added.
