PHNOM PENH: On March 26th, 2024, a meeting between Cambodian and Chinese officials focused on boosting trade cooperation between the two sides.

High-ranking representatives from both sides attended: H.E. Kha Leng, Secretary of State at Cambodia's Ministry of Commerce, and H.E. Liang Shaoxiong, Deputy Governor of Yuanfu City in China's Guangdong Province.

The Cambodian Secretary of State warmly welcomed the Chinese delegation and highlighted the positive growth of Cambodia-China trade. she attributed this success to strong cooperation under the “Diamond Hexagon” framework, which has fostered development and a sense of shared destiny between the two nations.

Both parties reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthen and expand cooperation, particularly in promoting trade and investment. A specific area of focus was attracting investment in Cambodia's growing modern agriculture sector.
