PHNOM PENH: On November 9, 2022, the China Road and Bridge Corporation (CRBC) officially inaugurated the US$2 billion Phnom Penh-Sihanoukville Expressway.

The symbolic inauguration ceremony is presided over by Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, and visiting H.E. Li Keqiang, Premier of the State Council of the People's Republic of China.

At the invitation of Prime Minister Samdech Techo Hun Sen, H.E. Li Keqiang and Madam arrived in Phnom Penh for a four-day official visit before the ASEAN-China Summit and other summits.

Samdech Techo Prime Minister Hun Sen and H.E. Li Keqiang hold a bilateral meeting at the Peace Palace, during which various aspects of the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership of Cooperation between the two countries as well as some regional and international issues of common concern.

The Chinese Premier will also travel to the province of Siem Reap where he will preside over the handover ceremony of the Takeo Temple Restoration Project alongside H.E. Chea Sophara, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Land Management, Urban Planning, and Construction, and High Representative of Samdech Techo Prime Minister Hun Sen.
