PHNOM PENH: The $ 112 million FTB Tower project has officially begun construction, as it will be a new high-rise structure in addition to the existing five-story building, adding to the country’s total of 2,433 buildings.

On April 22, 2022, Deputy Prime Minister Chea Sophara, Minister of Land Management, Urban Planning, and Construction, presides over the the groundbreaking ceremony for the FTB TOWER project on Lot A, Russian Federation Blvd., Sangkat Monorom, Khan 7 Makara, Phnom Penh. His Excellency commended FTB on behalf of the Royal Government of Cambodia, which has made outstanding progress up to this point.

The FTB Tower project, which will be laid as a groundbreaking ceremony for the current construction site, is 28 stories high, 157 meters high, and 77,593 square meters in size, making it one of the tallest buildings in the world. It will cost 112 million US dollars to build and will take 36 months to complete.

According to Deputy Prime Minister Chea Sophara, once completed in 36 months, the FTB Tower would contribute to providing services and assistance to young people who serve to invest in various areas.
