PHNOM PENH: The $ 112 million FTB Tower project has officially begun construction, as it will be a new high-rise structure in addition to the existing five-story building, adding to the country's total of 2,433 buildings.

On April 22, 2022, Deputy Prime Minister Chea Sophara, Minister of Land Management, Urban Planning, and Construction, presides over the the groundbreaking ceremony for the FTB TOWER project on Lot A, Russian Federation Blvd., Sangkat Monorom, Khan 7 Makara, Phnom Penh. His Excellency commended FTB on behalf of the Royal Government of Cambodia, which has made outstanding progress up to this point.

The FTB Tower project, which will be laid as a groundbreaking ceremony for the current construction site, is 28 stories high, 157 meters high, and 77,593 square meters in size, making it one of the tallest buildings in the world. It will cost 112 million US dollars to build and will take 36 months to complete.

According to Deputy Prime Minister Chea Sophara, once completed in 36 months, the FTB Tower would contribute to providing services and assistance to young people who serve to invest in various areas.

With only 90 employees and now has 500, which is considered a first step and will continue to expand and contribute to the Royal Government in the execution of market economy policy, as well as contribute to the reduction of poverty among the people in accordance with the Royal Government's policy, and Cambodia's young resources have advanced to compete in the world labor market. There are also human resources that are capable of covering employment in all fields.

The Cambodian market is now in line with the international turn, which is considered to be Cambodia's pride, especially when it comes to this building, which is very effective because customers from all over can come to rely on and can provide support for investment in all areas.

Deputy Prime Minister Chea Sophara mentioned the FTB Tower project's 28-story skyscraper, when completed, will be a new high-rise building in addition to the five-story building already accessible countrywide.
