PHNOM PENH: A contract has been signed by Sihanoukville Autonomous Port (PAS) for the sale of a 130-hectare plot of land for $26 million. According to the third quarterly report for 2022 submitted to the Cambodia Securities Exchange by Sihanoukville Autonomous Port.
According to the report, a 130-hectare land plot in Bit Trang commune will be sold under a contract that was signed by PAS and a client on November 10, 2021. The project falls under the category of investment property because the land plot had been purchased with the goal of turning a profit.
US$26 million is the total contract price or US$20 per square meter on the day of the contract, the PAS received a $ 2 million deposit. The buyer will pay the remaining balance once the transfer is complete, which is anticipated to occur by June 2023.
