PHNOM PENH: The Phnom Penh International Airport managed by Cambodia Airports has been recognised as one of the top 5 airports for the prestigious Routes Asia Awards 2025.
The airport has been shortlisted for top 5 in the “Under the 5 million” category, the company said in a Facebook post on Feb. 24.
The Routes Asia Awards highlight the best in airport and airline route development, focusing on advancements in capacity growth, marketing strategies, and overall network performance.
“We are proud to have reached this milestone and look forward to seeing what the future holds at the Networking Event and its final announcement,” the company said.
Twenty-five organisations are being recognised in this year’s edition of the Routes Asia Awards.
Voted for and judged by airlines, the airports and destination categories recognise the organisations that have delivered exceptional route development marketing activities, Routes said.
The winners of the Routes Asia Awards, sponsored by Airbus, will be announced during the Routes Asia 2025 Networking Evening on Mar. 26 in Perth, Australia.
