PHNOM PENH: Phnom Penh capital city of Cambodia and Honghe Hani and Yi Autonomous Prefecture of China's Yunnan province have discussed their bilateral cooperation in contributing to boosting the economic ties between the two countries.

The discussion occurred in Phnom Penh on Monday between Phnom Penh Governor H.E. Khuong Sreng and visiting H.E. Ms. Luo Ping, Governor of Honghe Hani, and Yi Autonomous Prefecture.

H.E. Ms. Luo Ping told H.E. Khuong Sreng of her visit to form cooperation between the two cities, particularly in the fields of agriculture and tourism.

For his part, H.E. Khuong Sreng welcomed the intention and instructed relevant municipal departments to work with the Honghe delegation for smooth and fruitful cooperation.

According to Ms. Luo Ping, Cambodian agricultural products well-known in the Chinese market are durian, longan, and banana.

The Honghe governor invited a delegation from Phnom Penh to pay a visit to Honghe at their appropriate time.
