PHNOM PENH: On Friday morning, January 20th, 2023, ID Investors Association “IDI” and ID Capital Plc. “IDC” led by Dr. Hor Sereyvath, Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mr. Chap Sopheak, CEO, and IDI Members welcomed a group of professional engineers from the Republic of Poland at IDC’s head office.

With more than a decade of experience in design and construction in Poznan, the Polish team shared experience in the design of infrastructure and systems for waste management for electricity conversion. The team also emphasized its experiences in the construction of food manufacturing plants, livestock farms, dairy farms, dairy production, packaging and storage facilities for vegetable and fruit products, etc.

In response, Dr. Hor Sereyvath expressed his welcome to the group’s interest in exploring business opportunities in the Kingdom of Cambodia and praised the experience and construction techniques shared.

He added that Waste Management and Electricity Conversion not only reduces manufacturers’ cost but also helps the environment by turning waste into electricity, and if adopted, the technology will help Cambodian manufacturers turn into sustainable business which is in accordance with one of the pillars under Enterprise, Social, Governance (ESG) that can attract the interest of Western and US markets in the future.

After the meeting, the two sides will hold subsequence meetings to further discuss the areas of cooperation.
