Four new investment projects approved by CDC

PHNOM PENH: The Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC) has given the green light to four new in the provinces of and Svay Rieng.

According to a CDC's press release issued today, the four newly approved projects with a total investment capital of US$13 million belong to JIANMIN FILTER (CAMBODIA) CO., LTD., METENDA METAL (CAMBODIA) CO., LTD., HUANDA COCOA FOOD CO., LTD. and HAINING NUOHE NEW MATERIAL CO., LTD.

The four investment projects cover the manufacturing of spare parts for vacuum cleaners, air conditioners, air and water purifiers; cocoa products; and packaging materials; and metal processing, the CDC said.

They will generate a total of some 780 jobs for the local locals, the same source pointed out.
