China Jilin’s investors express interest in investing in Cambodia

PHNOM PENH: Representatives from China's Jilin province met with the Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister, H.E. Sun Chanthol on Monday to discuss potential opportunities in the country. The delegation expressed their interest in investing in various sectors.

The meeting also included representatives from various Cambodian ministries and institutions, as well as Union Development Group and six companies from the Jilin Provincial Trade Promotion Council.

During the discussion, the Deputy Prime Minister encouraged all companies interested in investing in Cambodia to prepare and submit detailed project proposals to the Council for the Development of Cambodia () for review. He emphasized the CDC's role in facilitating investment project approvals and collaborating with relevant ministries and institutions to streamline the process for investors.

The Deputy Prime Minister also highlighted the positive investment climate in Cambodia and encouraged further investment from Jilin province. He expressed confidence that this collaboration will benefit both countries and contribute to Cambodia's economic growth.

Established in 1979, the China Jilin Provincial Trade Promotion Committee is a foreign economic and trade organization representing businesses, companies, associations, and institutions in Jilin province. The organization promotes trade and investment opportunities between Jilin and countries around the world.
