CDC delegation promotes Cambodia’s investment potential at CIFIT 23

PHNOM PENH: A delegation from (CDC) led by Deputy Secretary General Nuth Unvoanra attended the 23rd China International Investment and Trade Fair (CIFIT 23) in Xiamen, China from September 7-9, 2023.

The delegation's visit was aimed at promoting mutual investment activities, highlighting Cambodia's investment potential and opportunities, sharing updates on laws, regulations, and policies, and discussing new trends in investing in the global environment.

During the visit, Deputy Secretary General Voanra delivered a keynote address at the International Investment Promotion Forum 2023 and the third RCEP Forum.

In his speeches, he emphasized the role of Cambodia's investment attraction institutions and the Royal Government of Cambodia's efforts to improve the investment environment and investment facilitation.

He also highlighted the Pentagon Strategy of the Royal Government of the 7th Legislature, which focuses on human capital development, economic diversification, increasing competitiveness, private sector development and employment, sustainable and environmentally friendly development, and digital economic and social development.

The delegation's participation in CIFIT 23 was a success in promoting Cambodia's investment potential to Chinese investors. The delegation held a number of meetings with potential investors and received positive feedback on Cambodia's investment climate.

The CDC is committed to promoting Cambodia as an attractive investment destination. The organization will continue to participate in international investment fairs and events to raise awareness of Cambodia's investment opportunities.
