PHNOM PENH: On May 11, 2022, the Cambodian Development Council (CDC) approved four new investment projects totaling $1.3 million and creating numerous jobs.

The Investment Committee of Cambodia of the Council for the Development of Cambodia decided to issue the investment project registration certificate to the following companies based on the company’s investment request:

1. GLORY LIGHT INTERNATIONAL (CAMBODIA) CO., LTD. The project aims to establish a factory to manufacture home and office supplies (from fabric and paper) in Prek Chrey village, Sangkat Spean Thmor, Khan Dangkor, Phnom Penh, with an investment capital of 3.2 million US dollars and the potential to create 514 jobs.

2. J Tex Garment Co., Ltd. The garment factory project, which is located in Building 2 and 4, Lot 1, National Road 4, Vallisor Village, Samrong Tong District, Kampong Speu Province, has an estimated investment capital of US $3.9 million and has the potential to create 824 jobs.

3. FACTORY OF SELLY FASHION GARMENTS The Suzhou Cambodia Industrial Park, National Road 21, Prek Long Village, Sangkat Roka Khpos, Takhmao City, Kandal Province garment factory project has an investment capital of approximately US $3.5 million and has the potential to create 464 jobs.

4. GOLDEN WAY TEXTILE (CAMBODIA) CO., LTD. SZ GOLDEN WAY TEXTILE (CAMBODIA) CO., LTD. SZ GOLDEN WAY TEXTILE (CAMBODIA) CO The garment factory project in Takeo village, Sre Nong commune, Tram Kak district, Takeo province, with an investment capital of approximately 3.3 million US dollars, has the potential to create 1,072 jobs.
