CCC convenes meeting to discuss E-commerce strategy
PHNOM PENH: A meeting to discuss the strategy of e-commerce in Cambodia was convened by the Cambodia Chamber of Commerce (CCC) yesterday.
The meeting was chaired by His Excellency Dr. Tan Monivann, Vice President of the CCC, on behalf of Duke Kith Meng, President of the CCC.
The meeting was also attended by members of the National Advisory Group from the Ministry of Commerce, led by Subhadeep Chowdhury, Director of Profiten Cambodia, and other representatives from the Association of Banks in Cambodia (ABC), Cambodia Logistics Association, the Cambodia Digital Technology Association (CDTA), IEBuy Trading Company, SBI Bank, and more.
The purpose of the meeting was to review the progress of the implementation of the e-commerce law in Cambodia and discuss strategies for how to improve the law and provide strategic guidance to the National Advisory Group in its implementation.
During the meeting, members provided input and recommendations on the challenges, past and present, in the application of the e-commerce law in Cambodia.
The meeting was productive and resulted in a number of valuable insights and recommendations that will be used to inform the future of e-commerce in Cambodia.
