Cambodia’s skyscrapers rise to over 50 buildings

PHNOM PENH: In recent years, Cambodia’s development has largely been influenced by the real estate industry. The development of the industry and the advancement of Cambodia are reflected in the numerous buildings that are built.

As a result, there will be 2,534 5-story high-rise projects in Cambodia by the end of 2022 and there are totaling 510 Borey projects.

From the start of implementation in 2000 to November 2022, Cambodia will see 2,534 5 five-story buildings nationwide, including 1,675 in Phnom Penh, according to the Ministry of Land Management, Urban Planning, and Construction’s report.  There are 685 buildings in the province of Preah Sihanouk, 131 buildings in the province of Banteay Meanchey, and 43 other buildings.

There are 233 buildings with 20 to 29-story, 699 buildings with 10 to 19-story, and a total of 1,423 buildings with 5 to 9-story among them. 50 buildings have 40-story or more, making up the 129 buildings between 30 and 39-story.

There will be 34,373 residential buildings, 1,073 hotel buildings, 3,136 commercial buildings, 10,629 factory buildings, and multi-functional buildings between November 2008 and November 2022.
