PHNOM PENH: On the morning of Tuesday, 28 November 2023, Her Excellency CHAM Nimul, Minister of Commerce of Cambodia, led a delegation from the Ministry of Commerce, to visit the Cambodia Commercial Business Center located at the Burj Khalifa Tower in Dubai in order to get more insight about the center's progress and ways forward.

Her Excellency Minister informed the center's representatives about the business opportunities in Cambodia and the expected benefits from the implementation of the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement between Cambodia and the United Arab Emirates in the near future.

The agreement covers trade in goods, rules of origin, customs procedures and trade facilitation, sanitary and phytosanitary measures, trade barriers, trade in services, digital trade, intellectual property, economic and trade cooperation, small and medium-sized enterprises, and dispute resolution mechanisms.

On the same occasion, Her Excellency Minister also received a courtesy call from Ms. Chenling Zhang, CEO of OneRoad Group, to discuss work to strengthen and expand the investment and trade activities of the group, which currently has operations in both countries.
