Cambodia urges Foodpanda to expand investment and service coverage

PHNOM PENH: H.E. Hem Vanndy, , Science, Technology & Innovation, during a courtesy call last week, commended Foodpanda for its achievements and encouraged the company to expand its to service more areas in the country.

CEO of Foodpanda for Cambodia, Laos, and Myanmar, Mr. Zeya Mynn, expressed his commitment to further expanding the company's services by leveraging its platform to provide efficient and reliable food delivery options to more Cambodians and support local restaurants and businesses, many of whom are operating in the informal sector.

Minister Vanndy shared the government's commitment to working with the private sector to foster an environment that supports business expansion, with a special focus on micro, small, and medium-sized businesses.

Currently, Foodpanda employs about 4,000 riders in major cities including Phnom Penh, Ta Khmau, Sihanoukville, Siem Reap, Battambang, Kampong Cham, and Kampot.
