PHNOM PENH: The E-sports Federation of Cambodia (EFC) and Moonton Games have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to organize the first-ever Mobile Legends Bang Bang Southeast Asia Cup 2023.

The signing ceremony took place in Phnom Penh on Mar. 14 under the presidency of H.E. Chea Chanboribo, Secretary of State at the Ministry of Information and President of EFC, and Mr. Ray Ng, Chairman of E-sports Ecosystem of Moonton Games.

The MoU aims to establish a partnership foundation between EFC and Moonton Games to develop the e-sports industry in Cambodia. The Mobile Legends Bang Bang Southeast Asia Cup 2023 will reflect Cambodia’s development, especially in e-sports, he added.

Taking place in Phnom Penh from June 10 to 16, the event will attract the participation of 12 pro-teams from Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Philippines, Vietnam, Laos, Thailand, North America, the Middle East, North Africa, and Turkey.
