PHNOM PENH: From November 7th to 9th, 2023, on behalf of Cambodia's Minister of Commerce, Her Excellency CHAM Nimul, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Commerce, Her Excellency KHA Leng, attended and delivered remarks at the “China-RCEP Industrial Cooperation Conference”.

The conference was co-organized by the China-ASEAN Business Council, the RCEP Industry Cooperation Committee, and the Yunfu Municipal People's Government of Guangdong Province, China, under the leadership of Mr. Lu Rongchun, Secretary of the Yunfu Municipal Party Committee.

Her Excellency also participated in “The Fourth Meeting of the RCEP Industry Cooperation Committee”, which was held in Yunfu, Guangdong, and chaired by Mr. Xu Ningning, Chairman of the RCEP Industry Cooperation Committee (RICC). Senior leaders and distinguished guests from six countries in the region and the world attended the meeting.

In addition, Her Excellency witnessed the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding on Comprehensive RCEP Industrial Cooperation and the signing of economic and trade cooperation agreements between Yunfu enterprises and relevant enterprises of RCEP members.

The conference aimed to promote investment opportunities, explore investment possibilities, and expand cooperation between Cambodia and RCEP members.
