PHNOM PENH: Cambodia has exported 585,630 tonnes of milled rice in the first eleven months of 2023, bagging a total revenue of $ 420 million, the Cambodia Rice Federation (CRF)'s press release showed on Dec. 5.

The Kingdom exported milled rice to 60 countries and regions during the January-November period this year. China remained the top buyer, according to the e-news release.

The rice varieties exported by Cambodia included fragrant rice, organic rice, white rice, parboiled rice, and japonica rice.

CRF has set a full-year milled-rice export goal for the Kingdom at 700,000 tonnes in 2023 and at least a million tonnes of milled rice by 2025.

The country exported 3.9 million tonnes of paddy rice during the period, earning US$1.1 billion, read the report.
