Australia supports Cambodia’s agricultural product exports

PHNOM PENH: Australia is committed to boosting the exports of 's agricultural products, especially processed agri-food, to promote the country's resilient, inclusive, and sustainable economic growth.

The commitment was made by H.E. Justin Whyatt, Ambassador of Australia to Cambodia, during his recent meeting with Oknha Song Saran, CEO of Amru Rice Cambodia Co., Ltd., and Member of Agricultural Cooperatives at Kampong Thom province.

's recent fragrance rice export to Australia is a result of a 2023 visit by Cambodian agribusiness operators and government representatives to Australia to seek an understanding of Australian import regulations as well as to build business networks in Australia.

Australia continues to support farmers, agribusinesses, and agro-processing to help Cambodia expand its exports. AKP
