An American Estate sees great potential in the Cambodian market

PHNOM PENH: , the founder of Double Door, a US company, expressed a strong interest in Cambodia's real estate sector during her visit to the country.

Ms. Amy Kwan stated in a recent meeting with Mr. Meas Seng, Advisor to the Ministry of Commerce as she explained that: “because of the high potential and opportunities, particularly the use of technology to solve problems in the real estate sector.”

She mentioned that Cambodia is the first country she chose to visit among other Asian countries because it is very appealing, and the other two countries, Vietnam and India.​ Ms. Amy has now visited the most interesting provinces of Cambodia, including Phnom Penh, Kampot, Sihanoukville, Banteay Meanchey, and Siem Reap.

The real estate market in the United States appears to be stagnant, many Americans are looking for overseas investment opportunities.​ Therefore, Ms. Amy is willing to contribute to mobilizing those who can afford to buy real estate in Cambodia from the United States, as well as making Cambodia a more appealing real estate market for Americans.

Mr. Meas Seng warmly welcomed Ms. Amy Kwan and Double Door's existence in Cambodia. He also explained and briefed her on how to start a business in Cambodia, pointing out the key actors and stakeholders to apply for business registration, tax registration, and real estate license, and learn more about the Cambodian real estate sector.

Double Door was founded in the United States in 2017 as a pioneer in technology to solve real estate concerns. Double Door is a business that concentrates on the global real estate market rather than the domestic real estate market.
