A 43-kilometer provincial road worth $76 million officially inaugurated

PHNOM PENH: Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, presides over the official inauguration ceremony for Street 146B (Samdech Sangkha Reach Tep Vong Street) and Street 148 this morning, December 22, 2022. (Samdech Techo Sen Street).

Roads 146B section and 148 section will connect Prey Nup District to Sihanoukville Autonomous Port with a total length of 43.02 km by passing through Stung Hav District.

Road No. 146B or Samdech Preah Sangha Reach Tep Vong street Road is approximately 20.67 km long from the intersection of National Road No. 4 at km 178 + 165 located in Veal Thom village, Veal Renh commune, Prey Nob district, to village 1, Otres commune, Stung Hav district, which is built with 9 cm thick AC concrete floor and 11 meters wide.

Road No. 148 or Samdech Techo Hun Sen street is approximately 22.34 km long from Stung Hav district to the intersection of National Road No. 4 at km 225 + 550 at the Sihanoukville Autonomous Port, which is built of concrete pavement, 26 cm thick and 11 m wide.

Starting in April 2020 and ending in August 2022, construction on the Road No. 146B section and the Road No. 148 section, respectively, was completed.

At a cost of roughly 76 million US dollars, which sources from the royal government of the Kingdom of Cambodia’s national budget, construction was carried out by China Bridge and Road Corporation (CRBC) and technical inspection will be performed by a team from the Ministry of Public Works and Transport.
