PHNOM PENH: The United States of America is committed to attracting more tourists from the country to visit Cambodia.
The commitment was made by H.E. W. Patrick Murphy, U.S. Ambassador to Cambodia, during his meeting here on Nov. 22 with H.E. Vongsey Vissoth, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister and Minister in Charge of the Office of the Council of Ministers.
The U.S. will also contribute to the preservation and development of Cambodia’s tradition and culture, especially the continuation of coordination on the return of Khmer ancient artifacts to Cambodia, continued H.E. W. Patrick Murphy.
H.E. Vongsey Vissoth highly valued the bilateral collaboration between the two countries and looked forward to enhanced Cambodia-U.S. relations for the benefit of both peoples and countries.
The two sides also discussed more cooperation in education, economy, agriculture, environment, and the fight against human and illicit drug trafficking and transnational crimes.
