PHNOM PENH: H.E. Huot Hak, Minister of Tourism, received here on Mar. 2 Mr. Michael Cheow, Chairman of C. Michael International Sdn. Bhd., together with a delegation of Malaysian investors, to discuss the organisation of international tourism promotion events in Cambodia.
During the meeting, Mr. Michael Cheow presented a project titled “The Kingdom’s Grand Prix & Gala,” which features a series of major international tourism promotion events.
He said the proposed events would not only boost the local economy and create employment opportunities, but also demonstrate Cambodia’s readiness to host large-scale and modern international events.
For his part, H.E. Huot Hak welcomed the company’s proposal and reaffirmed the Ministry of Tourism’s support for organising major international tourism events in the Kingdom.
He added that the project would be a proud achievement for investors and bring significant economic benefits to the Cambodian people through tourism development.
