PHNOM PENH – Travelers can expect a truly exceptional duty-free experience at the upcoming Techo International Airport (TIA) thanks to a confirmed partnership between Cambodia Airport Investment Co., Ltd (CAIC), Lagardere Travel Retail, and HSC Group.

This collaboration, announced by OCIC, brings together local expertise with global retail standards. Dr. Lim Lina, Oknha Sok Hong (CAIC), and Mr. Dag Rasmussen (Lagardere Travel Retail) recently signed the agreement, solidifying the partnership.

Construction of TIA, a US$1.7 billion project nearing completion, has surpassed 78% progress and remains on schedule for a mid-2025 launch. This significant development is spearheaded by Cambodia Airports Investment Private Limited (CAIC), a joint venture between OCIC and the State Secretariat of Civil Aviation Authority, established in 2018.

The combined duty-free expertise and nearing completion of TIA mark a significant step forward for Cambodian travel, offering passengers a world-class experience upon arrival.
