PHNOM PENH: In the morning of August 29, 2024, the Securities and Exchange Regulator of Cambodia (SERC), in collaboration with United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UNESCAP) co-organized the workshop on “Developing Climate Investment Project Pipelines in Cambodia” under the high presidency of H.E. Sou Socheat, Delegate of the Royal Government in charge as the Director General of the SERC and Ms. Denna Morris, Economic Affairs Officer in the Macroeconomic Policy and Financing for Development Division of the UNESCAP.

This workshop was prepared as a part of UNESCAP’s Climate Invest Initiative in partnership with the SERC aimed to validate the findings of UNESCAP’s research on the development of green and sustainable project pipelines, to discuss the challenges and opportunities in increasing financial flow to green projects in Cambodia, collect the information from leaders in sustainable finance and what best practices have been leveraged in Cambodia.
