Prime Minister Hun Manet Vows to Complete Nationwide Land Registration by 2025

PHNOM PENH: Prime Minister Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet has reaffirmed the Royal Government’s commitment to completing nationwide systematic land registration by 2025.

This commitment was highlighted during a ceremony in Kampong Cham province, where the province marked the end of its land measurement process and began distributing land title certificates to citizens.

The Prime Minister emphasized that significant progress has been made under the current government, with over 3 million plots of land measured and registered and 87,000 land title certificates issued in the first 16 months. He stressed that the remaining 1.3 million plots will be measured within the 2025 timeframe.

Prime Minister Hun Manet attributed the successful land measurement progress in Kampong Cham to the prevailing peace and stability in the country. He noted that decades of conflict had previously hindered land measurement efforts.

Furthermore, the Prime Minister reiterated the government’s dedication to resolving all land disputes faced by Cambodian citizens through various established mechanisms.

Kampong Cham holds the distinction of being the first province to complete the systematic land measurement process.
