PHNOM PENH: Neak Oknha Kith Meng, the influential President of the Cambodia Chamber of Commerce (CCC) and Chair of the ASEAN Business Advisory Council-Cambodia, is currently spearheading a high-level business delegation in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam.
The visit, taking place from July 14-16, 2025, is a strategic initiative to bolster economic relations, boost bilateral trade and investment, and unlock greater market access for Cambodian goods.
The comprehensive agenda for the delegation, meticulously designed to maximize engagement and opportunities, features several key events. A central highlight is the Vietnam-Cambodia Business Networking Conference, anticipated to attract a large number of business leaders and investors from both nations.
This conference is poised to be a crucial forum for direct interaction, fostering discussions on potential partnerships, joint ventures, and exploring market opportunities across diverse sectors.
A significant outcome of the conference will be the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Cambodia Chamber of Commerce and the Vietnam-Cambodia Business Association. This MoU will formalize and deepen cooperation between the two organizations, setting the stage for enhanced bilateral trade and streamlined investment facilitation.
Beyond the conference, the mission includes dedicated business matching sessions, offering tailored opportunities for Cambodian delegates to connect with Vietnamese companies that align with their specific business interests. The delegation will also conduct site visits to Vietnamese companies, providing firsthand insights into their operations, technologies, and potential areas for future collaboration.
The Cambodia Chamber of Commerce, under Neak Oknha Kith Meng’s leadership, is dedicated to supporting Cambodian enterprises in their expansion into international markets. This mission is expected to create new avenues for Cambodian exporters and investors, ultimately contributing to the nation’s economic diversification and growth.
