Multi-million dollars Le Basacc Condominium remains in limbo

PHNOM PENH: Despite being inaugurated, the Le Bassac Condominium project has remained stagnant without any updates or progress for several years, much to the frustration of interested parties.

This high-profile project involves the construction of a 34-story building worth 35.70 million US dollars, situated at the intersection of two prominent thoroughfares – Norodom Boulevard and Street 294. The project is strategically situated only a mere 250 meters away from the Independence Monument, one of Phnom Penh’s most iconic landmarks.

Le Bassac Condominium has been developed by Taiwan Construction Company- 4 Season Construction Co., Ltd. Designed by renowned engineer C. Y. Lee and China State Construction Engineering Corporation (CSCEC): Straits Construction and Development Company, Ltd., the project aims to be a beacon of premier living in the heart of the bustling city.

The Le Bassac Condominium project began construction in mid-2017, and completion was initially scheduled for the end of 2022. However, so far, the project has not yet hit the ground running. The situation has caused concerns for potential stakeholders and interested parties, who are eagerly awaiting updates on the project’s progress. It is unclear what caused the delay in the construction process, but many are looking forward to seeing the project completed soon.

Despite the lack of updates, it is still evident that the Le Bassac Condominium project is a highly ambitious project that seeks to redefine high-end living in Phnom Penh. It boasts tremendous potential for growth and development, with promises of stunning views, state-of-the-art facilities, and a prime location that provides easy access to all the conveniences necessary for modern living.
