PHNOM PENH: Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries will push for the export of quality and sanitary and phytosanitary (SPS) products to the People’s Republic of China.
The note was highlighted by Minister H.E. Dith Tina during a meeting with a group of experts from the Foreign Economic Cooperation Centre (FECC) of China’s Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs here in Phnom Penh on April 27.
The effort will demand proper techniques, implementation plans, and precise strategies in line with the ministry’s policy.
The minister also underlined the ministry’s effort in achieving food security and safety and economic sustainability, adding that Cambodia will not compete on quantity but on quality to ensure environmental sustainability.
He also spoke highly of the good cooperation with FECC in the agriculture sector by far.
