Listed Companies Reach 27, Raising US$700 Million in Capital

PHNOM PENH: The Cambodia Securities Exchange (CSX) has successfully listed 27 companies, including 12 equity companies and 15 bond companies, raising a total capital of approximately US$703 million, according to a report released by CSX on Jan. 21.

The report, presented at the official registration ceremony for bond listing of Daun Penh Agrico Co., Ltd., was presided over by H.E. Dr. Hean Sahib, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Economy and Finance and Chairman of the Board of the Securities and Exchange Commission of Cambodia (SECC).

H.E. Dr. Hean Sahib highlighted that the issuance of bonds by Daun Penh Agrico serves as an exemplary model for local enterprises seeking long-term, low-cost capital through CSX.

“This approach provides convenience, speed, and flexibility for business owners, both domestic and international, enabling companies to mobilise large-scale capital at low interest rates to strengthen and expand their business potential, particularly in infrastructure and technology,” he said.

He further emphasised that the Royal Government regards the private sector as a key driver of national economic growth and job creation.
