PHNOM PENH: The Innovation and Development Investors Association (IDI) successfully hosted its 3rd Investment Roadshow on July 30, 2024, at the Business Development Center of the Ministry of Economy and Finance.

Gathering over 180 local and international investors and entrepreneurs, the event aimed to facilitate networking, explore investment opportunities, and enhance knowledge sharing.

Presiding over the event were His Excellency Sou Socheat, Director General of the Securities and Exchange Regulator of Cambodia, and Dr. Hor Sereyvath, Chairman of IDI and IDC.

The roadshow also welcomed esteemed representatives from the Ministry of Economy and Finance and the Ministry of Social Affairs, Veterans, and Youth Rehabilitation.

Key topics covered included the licensing of ID Capital Plc. as a Fund Administrator, Distributor, and Manager; new partnerships with Propnex, BDC, and DBAC; insights into Collective Investment Schemes, ESG, and quality standards; the launch of an Agriculture Fund with investment opportunities in coffee and chili farms leveraging smart contracts; Madcash’s success story in women’s entrepreneurship; and perspectives on the derivatives market for digital investors.

The IDI Investment Roadshow is a bi-monthly platform designed to connect investors and entrepreneurs, offering opportunities for investment, knowledge exchange, and networking. The association invites all stakeholders to participate in future events to explore investment prospects and contribute to Cambodia’s economic growth.
