Full Flight Simulator Training Centre Officially Launched In Cambodia

PHNOM PENH: The Lanmei University of Cambodia has launched officially an international flight simulator center, located near the Phnom Penh International Airport, as it aims to contribute to building human resources in the aviation industry in Cambodia.

The launching ceremony was held on Mar. 21 under the presidency of H.E. Mao Havannall, Minister in charge of the State Secretariat of Civil Aviation, H.E. Wang Wentian, Chinese Ambassador to Cambodia, Mr. Li Kun, Chairman of the Lanmei Aviation Group, and many other relevant officials.


The center is equipped with the US$10-million Airbus A320 full flight simulator, produced by Canada’s CAE group, for training.

H.E. Mao Havannall said the center of the Lanmei University of Cambodia is a milestone of the aviation sector and human resource development in Cambodia.

The flight simulator center receives financial support from the Mekong-Lancang Cooperation (MLC) Framework, according to the Lanmei Aviation Group.
