PHNOM PENH: A delegation of Women’s Business Council of the Philippines led by its Chairperson Ms. Rosemarie P. Rafael has been on a visit to Cambodia to expand cooperation and business ties with Cambodian women entrepreneurs.
On Jan. 22 at Kravanh Restaurant, Phnom Penh, the delegation attended a reception dinner hosted by H.E. Ing Kantha Phavi, Minister of Women’s Affairs
The event aims to provide women entrepreneurs from both countries (Women’s Biz of Cambodia and the Philippines) with the opportunity to connect, exchange business experiences, and build business matchmaking in key areas, including agriculture, industry, handicrafts, education, health, tourism, transportation and logistics, retail business, and manufacturing, said the Ministry of Women’s Affairs.
On that occasion, the source added, H.E. Minister warmly welcomed and discussed important work with the Philippine delegation as well as Cambodian women entrepreneurs to explore the possibilities and opportunities for doing business and trade between the two countries.
Ms. Rosemarie P. Rafael and her delegation recognised opportunities and support in launching future collaborations and business relationships with Cambodian women entrepreneurs.
