Dubai’s Hadid Aviation Explores Partnerships to Boost Cambodia’s Tourism and Air Connectivity

PHNOM PENH – Hadid International Services (HADID), a premier Dubai-based aviation support company, has expressed strong interest in promoting Cambodia’s tourism sector and expanding its flight connectivity to the Kingdom.

The initiative took center stage during a recent courtesy call at the Ministry of Tourism, where Cambodia’s Minister of Tourism, H.E. Huot Hak, met with Ms. Aida Ismail, Hadid’s Regional Director, along with her senior delegation. During the high-level meeting, Ms. Ismail outlined Hadid’s vision to leverage its global network of international partners to put Cambodia on the world stage.

The proposed collaboration focuses heavily on a global media campaign. Hadid aims to promote Cambodia’s rich cultural story through global media networks and by publishing promotional books translated into 30 to 50 languages.

Furthermore, the company is exploring opportunities to introduce upscale and essential aviation services to Cambodia, specifically focusing on Jet Charter and MEDEVAC (Medical Evacuation) services. To ensure maximum reach, Hadid also plans to organize international promotional events to showcase Cambodia’s tourism potential to global markets.

H.E. Minister Huot Hak highly commended Hadid’s initiative and encouraged the company to establish stronger air links between the Middle East and major Cambodian hubs like Phnom Penh and Siem Reap.

To maximize this partnership, the Minister proposed that Hadid launch Familiarization (FAM) Trips to bring prominent tourists and investors from the UAE and the wider Middle East directly to Cambodia.

He also suggested assessing the feasibility of establishing private charter and direct flights, specifically targeting Siem Reap, to boost luxury and business aviation tourism. Finally, the Minister requested that Hadid utilize its media platforms—including showrooms, social media, and in-flight screens—to support Cambodia’s “Visit Cambodia in the Green Season” campaign and market the country as a premier destination for Muslim travelers.

The year 2026 marks the 32nd anniversary of diplomatic relations between the Kingdom of Cambodia and the United Arab Emirates, providing a robust foundation for this expanding aviation and tourism synergy.

The Middle East represents a highly lucrative, emerging market for Cambodia, backed by a tourism sector that continues to show resilient growth.

Headquartered in Dubai, UAE, Hadid Aviation brings over 40 years of expertise to the aviation support sector. Its vast operational footprint spans across Africa, Asia, Europe, and the Middle East, making it uniquely positioned to bridge Cambodia with premium global travel markets.
