PHNOM PENH: For all to grow and prosper, every single entrepreneur should be ready to adapt themselves into the society’s turning point through new innovations and digital transformation since adopting changes and learning new things keep us up with situation both in the region and the world.
The remarks were made by H.E. SUN Chanthol, Deputy Prime Minister and First Vice President of the Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC), while he was sharing his insights as a guest speaker for a discussion forum themed “Cambodia Economic Environment and Business Opportunity,” at the Pinnacle Entrepreneur Forum and the 2024 ASEAN Women Entrepreneurs’ Network (AWEN) Award, hosted by Cambodia at Sofitel Phnom Penh Phokeethra on Aug. 1.
H.E. SUN Chanthol further underlined Cambodia’s investment potential and favourable business environment such as peace, political and macroeconomic stability, young and dynamic labour forces ready for digital transformation, incentives from the Royal Government, flexible and favourable investment procedures, and intermodal infrastructure.
Besides, he told the participants who are women entrepreneurs from the 10 ASEAN member countries about the CDC’s vision and mission to promote the current investment environment and business opportunities in Cambodia to the world, aiming to attract investors to the Kingdom.
The discussion was also attended by H.E. HEM Vanndy, Minister of Industry, Science, Technology and Innovation, and representatives of the Ministry of Commerce and Ministry of Women’s Affairs.
