PHNOM PENH: Zhejiang Seaport Logistics Group Co., Ltd. is exploring market potential, investment opportunities, and avenues for public-private cooperation in developing Cambodia’s logistics sector.
The plan was revealed during a meeting between H.E. Peng Ponea, Minister of Public Works and Transport of Cambodia, and representatives of Zhejiang Seaport Logistics Group Co., Ltd. in Phnom Penh on Aug. 25.

On the occasion, H.E. Peng Ponea highlighted the ministry’s policy directions and development strategies, which align with the Royal Government’s vision of transforming Cambodia into an upper middle-income economy by 2030 and a high-income nation by 2050.

He underscored the Comprehensive Master Plan on Cambodia Intermodal Transport and Logistics System 2023–2033, which covers road, railway, expressway, and waterway development, as well as master plans for logistics and port development.
The Minister also encouraged the Chinese company to continue close cooperation with the ministry’s technical experts, particularly in supporting human resource training and promoting growth in the logistics sector.
