CDC approves five new investment projects in three provinces

PHNOM PENH: The Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC) has approved five new investment projects in the provinces of Kampong Speu, Takeo, and Kandal.

The CDC’s news release made public this afternoon showed that with a total investment capital of US$50.7 million, the five newly approved projects belong to Taral International Co., Ltd., Super Knitting (Cambodia) Co., Ltd., United Creation Optical (Cambodia) Company Limited, SSCA Garment Co., Ltd., and Foton Packaging Product Co., Ltd.

Under the five investment projects, garment, footwear, eyewear, and bag factories will be created, the CDC pointed out. They will generate a total of almost 14,000 jobs for the locals, added the news release.
