CDC approved two projects worth $20 million, creating over 1500 jobs

PHNOM PENH: The Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC) has approved two new investment projects worth a total of $20 million.

According to a press release issued yesterday by the CDC, the new projects are owned by TECHNOMATE (CAMBODIA) TECHNOLOGY CO., LTD. and TECHNOMATE (CAMBODIA) PRECISION METAL CO., LTD. In a special economic zone in Svay Rieng province, the two companies will each invest $10 million in the production of light bulbs, solar bulbs, plastic materials, electric appliances, and other items.

The two newly approved projects are expected to create more than 1,500 jobs for locals, according to the press release.
