Meanwhile, GDP per capita in 2025 is expected to increase to $2,924, an increase of more than 40 percent compared to the figure forecast in 2024.
The Cambodian Economic Growth Forecast 2025 is based on Cambodia’s economic growth, which is expected to recover at a rate of 6.0 percent in 2024, with investment in small and medium-sized enterprises, digital and green infrastructure, and the launch and acceleration of the implementation of the “Pentagon Strategy-Phase 1” contributing significantly to boosting and adding value to the economy in 2024.
The Cambodian Economic Growth Forecast 2025 is also due to the gradual recovery of the global economy, especially Cambodia’s trading partners, while domestic economic activity continues to stabilize.
Meanwhile, according to the results of the industrial sector, non-garment manufacturing sub-sectors, services sector and agriculture sector, which have strengthened the implementation of policies and strategies, along with continuing to strengthen in-depth reforms in recent years.
During the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, the Cambodian economy fell below zero, but since 2021, the Cambodian economy has recovered to 3.1 percent, while in 2022 it rose to 5.1 percent and in 2023 it maintained 5 percent.
