Toronto, Canada – On Wednesday afternoon, October 29, 2025 , His Excellency Sun Chanthol, Deputy Prime Minister and First Vice Chairman of the Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC), led a high-level Cambodian delegation to visit the Lee Li Holdings Group’s fruit juice production facility in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
The visit’s core mission was to gain in-depth knowledge of the enterprise’s operational management, infrastructure, and its large-scale production lines, which utilize modern technology and a high degree of automation.

The Cambodian delegation—which included leaders from the Ministry of Commerce, the Ministry of Industry, Science, Technology and Innovation, the Cambodian Oknha Association (COA), and the Honorary Consulate of the Kingdom of Cambodia in Ontario—sought to understand the application of modern technology and international quality standards in beverage processing.
This knowledge is intended to serve as a key model for promoting and developing Cambodia’s burgeoning food processing and agro-industrial sectors.

Significantly, the Lee Li Holdings Group confirmed it will be exploring the possibility of investing in Cambodia to establish a regional supply hub. This follows earlier high-level discussions.
It is noteworthy that Mr. Lee Q. Shim, Chairman and CEO of Lee Li Holdings Group, had a courtesy call and working discussion with Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet in July 2024. During that meeting, the Group had already expressed considerable interest in investing across several key potential sectors in Cambodia, including oil and gas, healthcare, export recognition centers, food processing industry, logistics and automotive sector.
DPM Sun Chanthol’s visit underscores Cambodia’s commitment to attracting foreign direct investment (FDI) in sectors that incorporate advanced technology and meet international standards, further strengthening economic ties between the two nations.
