PHNOM PENH: The Cambodian Chamber of Commerce organized a Members Networking Night to provide members from various sectors with the opportunity to network, share knowledge, and explore opportunities for collaboration to promote shared value chains for sustainable development.
The “Members Networking Night” was hosted by Oknha Lim Tong, Vice President of the Cambodian Chamber of Commerce (CCC), a distinguished representative of Neak Oknha Kith Meng, President of the Cambodian Chamber of Commerce and Chair of ASEAN Business Advisory Council-Cambodia, and was attended by 150 national and international guests.
It was held at the Cambodia Mastercraft Microbrewery Restaurant, located at Chip Mong 271 Mega Mall, 2nd floor, in Phnom Penh on the evening of March 21, 2024.
Oknha Lim Tong, Vice President of the Cambodian Chamber of Commerce, said that the evening event was organized with the aim of promoting connections and opening up new opportunities in the business sector by connecting business and industry networks and other sectors to strengthen the overall value chain and supply chain in Cambodia, aiming to promote innovation and sustainable development.
Oknha added that the main purpose of organizing the event was to create a warm and inviting environment for members to strengthen relationships, share understanding and explore potential avenues for collaboration.
Oknha strongly believes that this event will strengthen ties within our business community, at a time when the government has been putting in place policies to promote active participation by the private sector in the development of the Cambodian economy, and in particular in terms of encouraging the business environment and providing incentives to contribute towards economic growth and resilience.
Oknha Lim Tong emphasized that the Cambodia Chamber of Commerce, under the leadership of Neak Oknha Kith Meng, is organizing this event for participants to share knowledge, seek guidance, or expand professional networks.
In addition, the event is committed to its members to create an attractive environment for businesspeople from various sectors and countries in the region to provide opportunities to exchange ideas, explore new business opportunities, and foster long-term partnerships.
Furthermore, Oknha encouraged participants to make the most of the event so that all participants can expand their business networks more effectively and efficiently, while seeking potential partnerships that will not only support and promote local businesses, but also contribute to a stronger Cambodian economy.
