PHNOM PENH: The 1st Digital Government Forum (DGF) kicked off here at the Koh Pich Convention and Exhibition Centre this morning under the presidency of Prime Minister Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet.
Cambodia’s Minister of Posts and Telecommunications, H.E. Dr. Chea Vandeth, emphasized the importance of digital collaboration for regional progress at the opening ceremony of the 1st Digital Government Forum (DGF).
“This forum aims to share experiences of the digital government revolution,” Minister Vandeth said, “and to strengthen and expand cooperation among digital revolution experts of the countries in the region.”
Held at the Koh Pich Convention and Exhibition Centre, the three-day event brings together Cambodian and ASEAN experts to discuss advancements and collaboration in digital governance.
The Minister further highlighted the forum’s role in showcasing the achievements of Cambodia’s Digital Government Committee, established to support the nation’s digital transformation goals outlined in the Digital Economic and Social Policy Framework 2021-2035 and the Digital Government Policy of Cambodia 2022-2035.
The Royal Government of Cambodia (RGC) led by former Prime Minister Samdech Techo Hun Sen has set out a digital economic and social policy, and the work has become clearer in the Pentagonal Strategy-Phase 1 of the new mandate RGC led by Prime Minister Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet.
