PHNOM PENH: Cambodia has now received a large number of Vietnamese investors, according to Samdech Techo Hun Sen, the head of the Royal Government of Cambodia.​ Vietnam is a major market for Cambodian agricultural exports, with the two countries’ trade volume exceeding $10 billion.

On August 2, 2022, Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Techo Hun Sen met with Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh, a Member of the Communist Party of Vietnam’s Central Committee. According to the Prime Minister, Cambodia and Vietnam have collaborated on​​ a variety of frameworks, ranging from government-to-government, parliamentary, and parliamentary to mass organizations.

“Vietnam is an important market for Cambodian agricultural exports,” said Samdech Techo Hun Sen. The two countries’ trade volume has surpassed 10 billion dollars, which is enormous.”

Samdech Techo expressed his enthusiasm for Vietnam’s progress and stated that Vietnam’s progress is contributing to Cambodia’s growth.  With good relations between countries, Cambodia now has received a large number of Vietnamese investors, as well as cooperation in other fields, including energy.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh congratulated the two countries on their diplomatic ties, as 2022 marks the 55th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries and the 45th anniversary of the impending overthrow of Pol Pot’s genocidal regime​ by 2023.
